Midnight Walk

May 2018

The 10th annual Midnight Walk took place on Saturday night. The walk, organised by Salisbury Hospice Charity, saw over 350 walkers light up the night and march through the streets of Salisbury. Before setting off walkers took part in a glowtastic warm up led by Laura and Claire of Clubbercise Salisbury and Amesbury.

Brave walkers faced a tough route which was new for this year. It was an emotional night for many as they placed stars with the name of loved ones on the memories board outside a specially lit Salisbury Cathedral.

So far over £21k has been raised for the charity and in the next coming weeks this figure is expected to double with sponsorship still to come in.

Salisbury Hospice Charity would like to thank everyone who participated in the walk for their kind support and generosity. We would also like to thank everyone who made this walk possible including our amazing volunteers, Support to Ops, Five Rivers Leisure Centre, Tesco, Bidfood, Reeves, The Oven Door Bakery, Booker, Pritchetts Family Butchers, Downes Transport and of course our sponsor James Hay.
