Hatch House Open Garden 2019 Raises an incredible 10K

June 2019

The annual Garden Open at Hatch House has raised an incredible £10,000 for Salisbury Hospice Charity. Despite the weather too, which was definitely not glorious sunshine as predicted but a constant drizzle. The garden was in full bloom and visitors were still able to enjoy it and the wonderful views from under umbrellas.

The marquees were buzzing with activity especially Lady Rumbold & Mrs Vernon's‎ famous clothes stall. This year an incredible array of fantastic clothes were donated so there were not only amazing finds but incredible bargains too.

"We are delighted that this year's Garden Open raised an incredible £10,000 and are overwhelmed by the kind support of everyone who attended, despite the weather. We would like to take the chance to say a huge thank you to Sir Henry and Lady Rumbold, Mrs Vernon, our wonderful Tisbury Fundraising Committee and all of the amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the afternoon was such a success," Tamsin Murley, Community Fundraiser for Salisbury Hospice Charity.

“What a day, a huge success and we are overwhelmed that everyone’s efforts have raised so much again for this Charity, which is so important to us. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who helped on the day and of course to everyone who came along and braved the British elements. If anyone is interested in helping the Tisbury Committee for Salisbury Hospice Charity, especially younger members, we would love to hear from you,” Lady Rumbold.
