Hospice Cutting Garden in Bloom

July 2019

It's July and the sun is out! Our hospice cutting garden is in bloom and looking wonderful.

There is now a lot of research from here in the UK and across the globe evidencing the health benefits from trees and gardens to patients and residents of places where care is given.

The whole premise behind this new adjunct to the gardens is to provide flowers for as much of the year as possible to be picked by relatives and friends visiting those within Salisbury Hospice.

None of the above would have been possible without the incredibly generous donation from The Wiltshire Growers and Awards for All for this project, as well as the wonderful support and hard work of the gardening volunteers. Words by Stephanie Bulman
