Salisbury Hospice Charity is proud to announce a new media partnership with Radio Odstock

September 2019

This exciting initiative will enable the 66-year-old hospital radio station, one of the oldest in the country, to go live online for patients and their families. The 24-hour service online will mean listeners can hear messages and requests along with all the latest news and events from Salisbury Hospice Charity.

Head of Fundraising, Paula Flower said:

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Radio Odstock to make this new venture a reality. This is a new platform for us, radio is a powerful medium and will help to promote our charity and the invaluable work of Salisbury Hospice.

Ben Johnson (pictured left), Head of Programming at Radio Odstock added:

This is an amazing thing to happen to Radio Odstock. History is being made for us and it would simply not be possible without the support of Salisbury Hospice Charity. Online streaming is vital in this day and age. Without this special partnership with Salisbury Hospice Charity, there is every chance that our station would eventually close. I'm sure that our founder, the late Paul Mullins, is looking down and feeling incredibly proud that the station he started now has a future.

Radio Odstock will be going live online and will be available to listen to from November.
