Ann-Marie Gibson Completes the Snowdonia Marathon!

October 2019

Ann-Marie Gibson has completed the Snowdonia Marathon in 5:28:54.

She says:

'it was the toughest thing I have ever done. I thought the first hill was never going to end. I ended up walking from about mile 21 to mile 25 and a half the hill was too big to run up and way too slippy on the way down. But I ran across the finish line with Oscar.' And of course, my baby bump Which is starting to show. The race although hard was so lovely. I had baby on board written on my back and the support of other runners was amazing.

Ann-Marie was running the Marathon in memory of her Dad who was supported by the hospice in 2018, we're sure he would be phenomenally proud of you! You can read more about her story here and see the interview we recorded while Ann-Marie was in training here:

An absolutely incredible effort to complete this very challenging Marathon Ann-Marrie, and incredible too considering you are also 4 months pregnant! Here at the charity we thank you so so much.
