Get ready for a fun-filled day with family on Saturday 3rd August, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary of Salisbury Hospice Charity’s flagship event at Wilton House Estate! Brace yourself for a day packed with thrilling activities, live music, children’s rides, vintage vehicles, amazing arena shows, country demonstrations, crafty and artisan stalls, and more! With so much action-packed into one day, there is something for every member of the family to enjoy!
From live music, featuring Navy Larks, Salisbury Rock Choir and Sticky Toffee Jazz on the music stage to name a few. To have-a-go children’s activities, like Kidz Love Fit sessions, climbing wall, archery plus new for 2024 – Circus Skills. Not to mention, the camels, Tumble Tots and Chuffley Miniature Steam Engine. With a whole village dedicated with children’s activities and entertainment, there will be plenty of fun and laughter!
WE are proud to say The Rockets Motorcycle Children’s Display Team are joining us with exciting jumps. South Wilts Falconry will also be attending this year to entertain you with their incredible Barn Owl performances in the main arena. Meirion and his Quack Pack team provides hilariously entertaining duck herding demonstrations. Salisbury Young Farmers will be roping in some volunteers with tug of war games!
Take a moment, to peruse the many stallholders displaying wonderful items including crafts and local produce on the day. Take the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the Summer Raffle to be in with a chance to win some fabulous prizes.
Quack Quack! Imagine hundreds brave rubber ducks kindly volunteering to take the plunge on the River Nadder, within Wilton House Estate. Will you choose to get involved? Will you be cheering you duck all the way to the finish line?!
If the duck race isn’t for you, why not head to the classic car village and take a moment to walk down memory lane, with a trophy of stunning cars expertly cared for over the years. Have a chat with the vehicle owners and find out some fun facts.
Make sure to head over to the food court, for a juice box or two! We have a fantastic selection of traders including outlets offering national and international cuisine for all dietary delights. Food Court is closely situated to the beer and music tent which overlooks the main arena with seating. In addition there is a Tea Tent situated in the Hospice Village
Keep the whole family entertained, including your four legged friends with the fun dog show and remarkable Scurry display. Enter your pooch into the fun relay fetch and retrieve races. Don’t worry water bowls will be provided!
Returning for its second year is a special wellness village dedicated to your health and well-being, where you can participate in classes and receive Vita Skin Spa treatments in stunning bell tents and shepherd huts. Make sure to book in advance!
