Team Only Fools and Plodders from Nationwide Salisbury completed their epic Jurassic Coast Challenge at the weekend, walking 100K along this iconic stretch of coastline.
Branch manager, Lee Syrett picks up the story:
‘Really struggling with the words to sum up yesterday’s Jurassic Coast Challenge 2021 raising money for our incredible Salisbury Hospice Charity
What my Nationwide team put their bodies and minds through during the epic 15 hours, 36-mile treacherous trek is beyond words, without a doubt the most insanely toughest challenge we have ever done.
Over 5400 feet of elevation climb plus everything the weather could throw at us didn’t stop us from crossing the line and completing this brutal challenge!
Thank you, everyone, for your support and donations, fundraising at £990 almost at our £1000 target which will make such a difference to the Hospice.
