Keeley Rebbeck Walks 20 Miles in One Day and Raises 1.4K

Keeley Rebbeck challenged herself to walk 20 miles in one day to help raise essential funds for Salisbury Hospice after her grandad was supported by our nursing teams.

Keeley said:

Salisbury Hospice will forever hold a special place in my heart as they provided outstanding care for my grandad, Geoffy, in his final days with us. A short illness took him far too soon but I rest easy knowing he was in the care of Salisbury Hospice right until the end.
So, it turns out I can’t do things by halves and instead I decided to commit to a whopping 20 mile (32km) walk from my home in Alderbury to Mottisfont and back again IN ONE SINGLE DAY on Saturday 15th May 2021.

Some photographs of Keeley’s walk.

After the completion of her challenge she said:

Who knew walking 20 miles could be so hard but I did it. I can barely walk today though so a day of rest is needed.
I ended up raising £1,412 (£1,594 including Gift Aid) and I’m so so chuffed with that.
Thanks for all your support and I look forward to doing more fundraising in the future.
